Rules

MEMBERS CONDUCT & RESPONSIBILITY
All Members are responsible for the dress standards and behaviour of their guests. Failure to adhere to this policy may find the introducing Member being questioned by the Committee with cancellation of Membership being enforced in the most extreme cases.
Members are requested to show consideration to others. Please ensure you and your guests refrain from obscene, offensive or racist language and drink responsibly.
For those with children the committee requests that no ball games are played in the room, there should be no running and your child/ren should always be under your supervision so as to ensure the safety of other members and guests. It is also imperative children refrain from talking whilst there are guest speakers in the room and the noise levels are kept to a reasonable level for the other members and guests in the room.


CLUB RULES & POLICIES - CLUB DRESS REGULATIONS

A high standard corporate dress is expected. Children should be well dressed.
A minimum dress standard of collar and tie for men and corporate for women required at all times. This dress standard applies to guests in the facilities as well. Guests visiting at the end of the match must be in “Smart Casual” i.e. Men in a Jacket or Collared Shirt and women dressed appropriately.

Men – Collar & Tie
Women – Dressed Accordingly.

Not Acceptable: Men
• Thongs, scuffs, dilapidated footwear, gumboots, moccasins, slippers
• T-shirts, singlets, torn or ripped clothes even if “designer” tears
• Shirts not supported by a collar including crew neck shirts (skivvies and roll neck pullovers excepted)
• Football, running, athletic, bike, tennis and board shorts
• Tracksuit pants
• Beach wear
• Overalls
• Any clothing displaying racist or similarly offensive messages.

Not Acceptable: Women

CHILDREN
Children under 18 years of age MUST BE under the direct supervision and control of an adult at all times whilst within the area controlled by the Coterie, including Reserved Seats. Parents or Guardians of children should ensure that appropriate dress standards are observed at all times.

LIQUOR & FOOD CONSUMPTION
Members must be aware that the bringing of alcohol and food into the Coterie function room is strictly prohibited. This includes children purchasing food from retail outlets at the ground and returning to the room.
Should a Member have specific requirements through medical reasons, he/she is requested to contact the Club and arrangements will be made within the Club whenever practicable.
Members or Children will be asked to remain in the stand until such time as any food or drink is consumed in its entirety.

Members must also be aware that as the Coterie room and the reserved seating area are situated within the MCG and Telstra Dome you are subject to the rules and regulations of these venues as well.

MOBILE PHONES - RULES FOR USE
Mobile Phones are to be programmed to “silent” whilst the group is being addressed by either a guest speaker or another member of the group. Members are to leave the room should they need to make or receive a call whilst the group is being addressed.

LOST PROPERTY
All Lost Property must be handed to a Committee member and is available by contacting the committee through the website and working out a mutually agreeable time for return.

GAME DAY SEATING
Tickets for Reserved Seating are issued to the Coterie by Carlton Football Club. The allocation is in front of the room at both the venues. Your seat will be allocated on match day and distributed via a member of committee.
Seating within the Club: A limited number of seats are provided inside the room for your comfort for viewing behind glass. The reservation of seats inside the Club for friends and/or guests who have not yet arrived is not permitted. The spirit of fair play is essential as amenities are to be shared for the benefit of all members.

SEAT ALLOCATION
• Reserved Seats will be allocated in order of receipt of booking.
• Members have priority over additional guests for seat allocation therefore additional guest seats are limited and are allocated on a “First-In-First-Issued” basis. MEMBERS WILL ALWAYS TAKE PRIORITY OVER GUESTS FOR SEAT ALLOCATION.
• Guests will take priority over children for seat allocation.
• Members wishing to be seated as a group must submit bookings together to ensure group seat allocation where possible.

PACKAGES AND BOOKINGS
Season packages are released to Members as soon as they are made available to Carlton Football Club from the various venues governing bodies.

Members are automatically booked in to each home match as per the allocation of the membership. Your tickets are transferable, however; those using your tickets must abide by the rules and policies of the Coterie. You should notify the booking officer should you be unable to attend a match.

To book additional guests members MUST notify the booking officer either via phone, e-mail or by completing the on-linebooking form via the website at least 3 working days before the scheduled match. Entry to the function and seat allocations cannot be guaranteed if booking is not received by this time. Full payment is expected at time of booking.

TICKETS & COLLECTION
Your package will contain a Silver 11 Membership ticket for each person on the allocation. It will also contain an official entry pass to the Blues Coterie facilities for both venues. Guest passes will be mailed to you once payment has been received.
Lost Membership Tickets: The replacement of a Silver 11 Membership Ticket will incur a charge of $20. A Statutory Declaration must be completed confirming the loss of the Membership.

Note: Tickets are transferable however guests using your tickets must abide by the dress code and these rules and policies for entry into the facility.

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICIES
No refunds on cancellations can be applied if cancellation is made within 3 working days of the scheduled game as catering numbers have already been confirmed.

Cancellations prior to 3 days will incur a full refund of any monies paid. Should cancellations become a regular occurrence an administration fee may be applicable.

MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL
Membership Fees are paid per AFL Football season.
A Membership renewal notice is mailed or e-mailed to each Member approximately one (1) month prior to Membership Fees becoming due, the membership must be paid in full before the season package including Membership passes and Car parking passes will be allocated and mailed.

Renewal of your membership may take place anytime from the beginning of the year in which the season commences. Once packages are made available by the venues and Carlton they will be mailed to you. This may not be until 2 weeks prior to the season proper.

Members who are not financial will be unable to access either Telstra Dome or The MCG and thus the Coterie. A guest pass for the day must be purchased and membership must be paid in full before entry to the venue.
The Blues Coterie is not responsible for Membership packages being sent to the wrong address. Please ensure you notify the committee of any change of address or telephone or fax numbers including mobiles.
Please notify committee immediately should you loose your membership or room entry passes so that we can make alternative arrangements for your entry into the Coterie.
